Ordering from Comexim

Comexim has quickly become one of my favourite brands. It is a bit harder to get hold of as you until recently could only buy them directly from Comexim. It is however worth it due to the shape and the wonderful fit. This is the only brand I've found that in a large cup and small band has the straps in the right place, which for me means.... no alterations! :)

Models

There are essentially five groups of models that are all more or less identical apart from the fabric. They are all on the narrower and deeper side in shape, so if you need wide wires this is probably not the brand for you.

Tosca, a padded plunge bra

Padded Plunge Bra

The padded plunge bra I would say is the most popular group. Almost all newer models released belong in this group. It is a cotton lined foam padded plunge with a three-piece seamed cup, full band, leotard back and fully adjustable straps. The most similar model is the Ewa Michalak PL-model, though this one has a slightly more rounded shape than the PL.

Pepperberry's Bold Stripe Maxi Dress

Stock photo from Pepperberry of their
Bold Stripe Maxi Dress from SS2012.
Bold Stripe Maxi Dress
in 8c/rc from Pepperberry
When I finally found the Bold Stripe Maxi Dress in a size close to mine I was left choosing between a 8c/rc or a 10rc/sc. As I'm usually somewhere between a 6  nd a 8 in waist size I was quite sure that a 10 would be too big, but a 8c/rc is in general too small at my bust. Looking through the photos from last season on the Pepperberry Facebook page it did seem to run big and I can confirm that it definitly does. And did I like it...? Well, let's see...

Ewa Michalak - 50, 55 and 60 Bands Once Again Available

During Wednesday afternoon Ewa Michalak announced that they will go back to producing 50, 55 and 60 bands under the same conditions as before. This means that they will still be made to order, will still have an additional 20 zl (about €4.6 or £4) charge to them and still be non-returnable. They will also not be making any changes to the strap placement at all.

The reason behind this change in policy was claimed to be the popular demand and the numerous requests, which despite everything that has happend the last weeks means the brand listens at least the tiniest bit to their customers. Personally I'm quite sure that it was more because of the previous decision not making any sense financially plus that it had started to cause negative publicity to the limit that it actually could be strict negative for business. Their ability to listen to customers so far seem to be very selective to say the least.
